"Oh man...Oh baby...Oh Hanna"
Hanna? Who is Hanna B.D.?
That's just a phrase my friend for my jubilation that spring is just around the corner. Woo-Hoo!!!
Spring tells me that it won't be long before me and the Holland spend a lot of time together.
Of course right now, the week will be nice and the weekend will suck, but not for long...
"Be still my quivering Spatula. Calm yourself my lustful Tongs." It won't be long now...
(and I can't believe I got jubilation right on the first spelling) Woo-Hoo!!!

And Today is Monday...
I took today off because I had someone coming over to insulate the floor. When our gas bill almost quadrupled from last year, it was time to do something. Spend a lot to save a little... (I hope)
Plus... I got a few things done that I have been putting off from my to do list.
Today was pretty nice, so I grilled some Leg Quarters tonight and they were good...
We took some pictures, so I'll post them soon, since we have finally figured out how to post pictures without having to threaten the computer with bodily harm... (G)
Life is good...
Beer is better...

Weekend Report
Yesterday was nice. Most of the day, Mr. Sunshine came out to play, but that nasty old North Wind crashed the party and it got cold again.
All of BD's girls (Julie, Tracy, Vicky, Lena, and honorary BD's girl Delinda) are bowling in the Women's Tournament that has taken place over several weekends. They are doing fairly well I'm told, so I'll have to say "You Go Girls" good luck and I'll drink one for you... (G)
Also... I have added two new blog links to my list.
TnChick (Tennessee Chick) that lives somewhere nearby.
And Decadent Tranquility (just listed as Tranquility on my link)
Check these two out while you're here, you'll like 'em.
Don't forget about the race this afternoon.
(NASCAR Auto Club 500)
Have a great day!!!

This & That
You know I spend a lot of time surfing the net to find good workable recipes to post on this site. I study what I find to make sure they are credible recipes.
Because if I post a recipe that does not work, and you pull it off my site and fix it and (it sucks) then my credibility goes down along with it, and you won't come back. This is a black eye towards me.
Recipes must be trustworthy, and it seems that everybody that has a web site has recipes. I think sometimes people will post anything just to say they have recipes. "Hey check me out, I have recipes." I look at them to see if they are workable. (Meaning the mix of ingredients, and the method of madness.)
You would be surprised at what people post.
I take pride in what I do here at "the grill" and of what I present to you. (my readers)
I have literally looked at thousands of recipes, and probably culled as many to find the best.
My credibility is important to me, and that's why I only post the best recipes out there for you to enjoy and add to your collection.
If I have doubts about something, it won't be posted here.
You have my word on that, and my word needs no hand shake to seal the deal.

Happy B-day Tracy
Today is one of Bigdaddy's Girls' birthdays.
I would say "Happy (you fill in the blank) Birthday" but women are funny about numbers.
Now us guys, we don't care about divulging our age, but with ladies it's different. Ladies don't like numbers.
(Well they like money numbers.)
But when it comes to...
Bra size...
Waist size...
Shoe size...
Age...
Or anything else, that comes close to or deals with those numbers, that topic is off limits.
So... Since I am sworn to secrecy (by Julie) about the number, I will just say...
"Happy (you fill in the blank) Birthday Tracy"
(I will be taking bids on eBay for the info.)
Bidding starts at 2 beers.
