Weekend Report (part II)
As you will notice, I have changed the look of Macdaddy's Grill.
I just thought it was time to make a few changes. I hope you like the new look.
On another note: We got plenty of rain yesterday, no real severe weather here to speak of, just plenty of showers. Now watch this...
Next weekend is called a wash out too! Why?
Rain...and of course me being off and really wanting to do some bbq you can bet it will rain.
Just like when people wash their car or truck, it will always rain after.
Me...when I want to fix some 'Q'...it rains.
Oh well...
Break out the rain coats & rubber duckies.

Weekend Report...

I don't think I will be grilling anything today.
The weather gurus are calling for some rough weather around our little neck of the woods this afternoon, and they all sounded pretty serious about it last night. We'll see...
Someone asked me, who I was talking about on the post below. Or did someone just piss me off.
I won't mention a name, but rest assured it was not any of my girls, or any of my true friends. And yes...she did.
I don't care much for uppity type people that are too lazy or too high society minded to take the time to cook something. "Oh I didn't have time to fix all that, you do it and I'll try it, but bring enough to feed my whole family, I just hate cooking." Excuse me?
Well gee babe...sorry you would have to mess up your very lovely manicure by actually having to do some work in your kitchen.
One of Julie's friends asked if I minded making some for them because her husband loves chili and she has her hands full with two young 'uns.
Don't tell me you ain't got time to read the recipe, and say "you just fix it and bring it to me." Do I look like a maid?
You don't give me orders till I open up my restaurant, then I'll take your order.
Sorry about your luck...
Have a nice day!!!

Simply Thursday...

(this is a picture of my chili taken by the Tennessean)
You know, I was lucky enough to get my chili recipe published in the paper. But everybody wants me to make a batch for them.
Hello...recipe in the paper...you make it, get your hands dirty...
Now... don't get me wrong, I love to cook...and I don't mind feeding anybody...but if I gave you my recipe for free...why should I have to fix it for you? Here's the list...here's what to do...go for it.
If I have to fix it for you because you're not a follow a recipe kind of person, then stop at Wendy's...they have chili. Do I look like a short order cook?
Hey...here is the recipe that I have worked on for almost 10 years, given to you out of the goodness of my heart for free. And some people want me to fix it for them because they are too lazy?
People amaze me sometimes...
