Update from Memphis (Part II)

Here's the latest update: B.D. said things were going good until Tuesday afternoon when it started to rain and everybody just about got washed out of their shorts. So they wound up having to leave and not getting much done on Tuesday.

Wednesday when the guys got down to the park, they walked into a big ol' mud hole but it wouldn't be Memphis in May without a little bit of rain. But the guys have good weather the rest of the week so everything is drying out.

B.D. did a test run on the hot wings yesterday and let the guys check 'em out and give their opinion and everybody said that they were the best hot wings they ever had. They were just right. (Hopefully he's got a real winner.)

They cooked some ribs last night and put some Boston butts on at about 10 o'clock last night. They've been on the cooker all night. The cooker's doing real good, holding a good temperature. Everything's going according to planned.

The guys are getting geared up getting ready to put the competition shoulders on for this weekend.

B.D. forgot to mention about Pat Martin being on the team. Pat Martin is the owner and pitmaster of Martin's Dixieland Bar-B-Que in Nolensville, TN. Pat's had great reviews about his restaurant and everybody says he has great "Q". B.D. really likes Pat. He's a real down to earth, tell it like it is, good ol' country boy. So, B.D. says when ever you get a chance, go check out Pat's place.

Besides that everything else is going good and the guys are pumped and ready to go. We hope everybody wishes them luck.

B.D. hasn't taken any pictures yet because they've been so busy getting caught up. But he will as soon as they get a break in action.

B.D. misses everybody and wants to tell all of his faithful readers "Hello."

I'll update you later on and let you know how the guys are coming along.

Enjoy your day!

Mrs. B.D.
