Cowboy Pork & Beans

Most of the time when I do pork & beans I put them in the smoker to cook.

But here is a good recipe for the oven.

Enjoy!!!

Cowboy Pork and Beans

1 pound ground beef
1 or 2 medium onions, finely chopped
1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 cups ketchup
1 teaspoon vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons prepared mustard (see note)
2 (16 ounce) cans pork and beans
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

Note: I would add just a tad bit more only because I like mustard in baked beans and p&b's.

Brown ground beef, onions and bell pepper in a 10-inch skillet.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour into baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes
or until mixture is bubbly.
